Hi there, thanks for stopping by the blog. Today I have a layout to share with you where I have added just a tiny bit of BLACK to add impact. It really does make quite a difference & gives lots of depth !!

The Lindy’s colours I have used are: Sea Mint Green, Pineapple Paradise, Luscious Lime, Midnight Rendezvous Raven sprays & Drop Dead Gorgeous Green Magicals & I have embossed with Cleopatra Copper EP. These are all available on the Lindy’s website.
I have also made a little VIDEO tutorial on my creative process as well as a photo tutorial.
I heat embossed all my chipboard pieces in Cleopatra Copper.

Lots of mixed media on my background & lots of lovely layers, textures & stamping. All of the stamps I have used are from 49 and Market.

Step-by-Step
Apply CLEAR gesso to paper and then add texture paste with a stencil to the background paper.

Then spritz paper with water & then, using a brush, start adding various shades of green Lindy’s sprays & Magicals & again using water to blend them.

Next add some Lindys “Pineapple Paradise” yellow & blend with the greens.

Now add just a tiny bit of BLACK, just a tiny bit though. Spritz with water to blend it & even dab some of the excess off with a baby wipe before drying it off. See the added depth this gives your project !!

Stencil some texture paste onto a scrap of card, when dry spray with Lindy’s “Pineapple Paradise” spray & punch some circles out if it with a paper punch. Set aside.

Heat emboss all chipboard pieces in Lindy’s Cleopatra Copper embossing powder or something similar.

Now do a little background stamping in black, add a few splatters in “Midnight Rendezvous Raven” black spray & start layering everything onto the layout. Adding those circles we punched out earlier in amongst the layers.
