Creating Sunshine with Lindy’s Gang Natalie May Go Girl Sets by Ericka

Hello, Lindy’s Gang! Ericka here, bringing a little burst of color to a dreary fall day. When the weather outside is gray, I love creating my own sunshine with bright, happy colors—and the new Lindy’s Gang Go Girl sets are absolutely perfect for the job!

These vibrant colors come in sprays and Magical Shakers (both flat and shimmer), offering endless possibilities for blending and layering. Today, I’m playing with the sprays and pairing them with the Natalie May “Don’t Overthink It” stencil for a fun and uplifting mixed-media project. Let’s dive into the creative process!I love these bright colors and how beautiful they mix.

The Process:

1. Start with a Colorful Base
Using watercolor cardstock, I secured the Natalie May “Don’t Overthink It” stencil with tape. Then, I arranged my Natalie May Go Girl Flat Fabio Sprays in a blend-friendly order. A quick spritz of these gorgeously bright sprays transformed my blank canvas into a vibrant masterpiece.

2. Add Stunning Collage Details
Once my base was dry, I applied the Natalie May Cara collage paper with Liquitex Matte Medium. These images are stunning and complement the Go Girl palette beautifully, adding depth and interest to the design.

3. Add a Thoughtful Sentiment
To complete my card, I added a sentiment from the PaperArtsy Alison Bomber Dreaming and Doing set. I clear heat-embossed the sentiment for a polished finish that ties the design together.

4. Sprinkle on the Shine
To add a touch of shimmer, I lightly spritzed my background and sprinkled on Lindy’s Gimme Five Gold embossing powder. A quick blast with a heat tool melted the powder into random, golden blotches that catch the light and add a magical shine.

And there you have it—a little sunshine in card form, ready to brighten someone’s day!

I hope this inspires you to dive into your own stash of Lindy’s sprays and powders. Let the colors guide you, and don’t be afraid to experiment with stencils, collage papers, and embossing powders for unique and stunning results.

Thanks so much for stopping by—happy crafting!
