Hi there lovelies, thanks for calling by the blog. Today I have a layout I would like to share with you, featuring my gorgeous grandaughter. For this layout I wanted to go super pastel on the white background.
I have created a VIDEO TUTORIAL so you can see my creative process, & I have also included some step x step pics below as well.
Let me show you how to create these stunning watercolor flowers.
Step #1…. After applying some clear gesso to the background, stamp & heat emboss some flowers in the top right corner in Purely White embossing powder. Also stamp & emboss some extra ones one a separate piece of cardstock. Any flower stamp will do.
Step #2….Brush some Pink Ladies Pink & Merci Beaucoup Mint spray onto the spare flowers. Dry off.
Step #3…. Next fussy cut out the spare flowers like I have done here. I did about eight or nine extra flowers but it really depends on the size of the stamp you are using.
Step #4…. For the background, spritz page with water & spray a small amount of Pink Ladies Pink spray onto the background. Blend with some extra water & dry off.
Step #5…. Start to lay everything on your layout to check the placement.
Step #6…. Spray some extra white flowers with some Bonjour Butter spray.
Step #7…. Spray a bow & some die cut foliage with some Luscious Lime spray. Now you can start to put it all together & finish off with a little background stamping & a few Prills.
As well as stamping & heat embossing some flowers on my background, I also stamped & heat embossed some extras & after coloring them with the above sprays, I then proceeded to fussy cut them out. I have also heat embossed this chipboard title, a length of chain as well as these words that I stamped on the background with the Bonjour Butter embossing powder.
I also sprayed some extra flowers in the Bonjour Butter spray. Isn’t this a gorgeous color? I love it. I was really happy how all these flowers turned out.
