Hello Gang!
It’s Rita here on the Lindy’s blog and this time I came with Magical Star using Lindy’s Sprays, Embossing Powders and Magical Shakers.
Description of the process:
- I started by glueing rice paper on my canvas. I did it using white gesso. Afterwards I covered all the surface with clear gesso.
- I stamped the star surface with the stamp using clear embossing stamp pad and sprinkled it with Gimme Five Gold Detail Embossing Powder on top. I melted it with the heat gun.
- I proceeded with adding texture paste through the stencil and sprinkled it with Twilight Jade Slate Embossing Powder. After the paste got dry, I used the heat gun to melt the Embossing Powder. I also made additional stamping with different stamps using blue ink pad and black ink pad.
- All the figurines I used were covered with black gesso. Afterwards I added some white gesso and some white gesso mixed with Ears Lookin’ ‘Atcha Olive Magical Shaker on top.
- I also sprinkled some parts of my star with Ears Lookin’ ‘Atcha Olive Magical Shaker and made some background coloring.
- I put all my figurines on the star surface and sprayed them with Incandescent Copper and Tainted Love Teal sprays on top. After spraying with the first spray, I allowed it to dry completely before adding the next spray.
- I used gold and silver wax pastes to reveal the texture of the figurines.
