Hi guys! Today I would like to show you my new project made for our May color challenge and inspired by our delicious pallette 🙂
This project is really something new for me, as I have never worked with canvas before. So today you can see my first experiment with canvas from the beginning to the end, as I made a video for you 🙂
Here are some pictures of the result of my experiment:
My canvas is rather small, just 10×15 cm, and I love this size! It is similar to the cards I make, so it wasn’t too scary to start working with new surface 🙂
I bought the canvas in a craft store, and it was pre-covered with gesso, which is really convenient if you want to use paints right on the canvas.But I decided to start a bit differently, and you will see the full process of decoration in the video below:And some more photos of my canvas:
To decorate the canvas I used paper flowers, some metal embellishments and shells. And of course lots of my favorite Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays! This time I used the following colors:
Frenchy’s Pink Pouf
And to bring the whole project to life I added some stamping and embossing with Queen Sheba’s Silver Powder
