Hello Lindy’s Fans,
Aditi here and I’m sharing an easy background technique for quick cards! Sometimes less is more. This idea ensures clean and elegant card making.
This also helps, break a blank page in your art journals.
Here’s a look at the card:
I have a process Reel over on Instagram.
I started off by mixing the Victorian Bouquet magicals in a palette with water. Next, I misted an A2 Watercolor Panel with water. With a paintbrush I then applied the orange, pink, purple, blue and teal, in the order one below another. I then held the panel upright, and sprayed water to let the colours drip into one another. Once done, I dried the panel, and splattered the same colours in the corresponding areas. I splatted white ink for contrast.
I then stamped a floral cluster from Altenew’s Blossoms of Encouragement set on the top and bottom with Altenew Obsidian Ink. I stamped the sentiment in between the clusters to complete the card.
I hope this inspires you to pull out the magicals and create something!
Happy crafty weekend!
Aditi
