Winter Canvas with Lindy's Magicals and Sprays by Valeria Timonova

Winter Canvas with Lindy's Magicals and Sprays by Valeria Timonova

Hello to all Lindy’s enthusiasts. Today, it’s Valeria here with a new winter project and video tutorial. The winter forest holds a certain enchantment, where the crisp air fills your lungs with freshness and the snow-laden trees glisten with a touch of magic. Far away from the noise and chaos of everyday life, the serenity of the woods beckons me during the Christmas season. As I stroll through the silent wilderness, I find solace in the rhythmic crunch of snow beneath my boots. It is in this tranquil setting that I discover hidden treasures – fallen branches, weathered and worn, yet brimming with character and potential. Using the diverse branches as my canvas, I let my imagination run wild.

May this project inspire you to appreciate the beauty of nature and seek solace in its embrace. And as the holiday season approaches, let us find joy in the simplicity and serenity of a wooden house hidden somewhere in the wintry woods. And of course, to create this project, I was helped by Lindy’s sprays and magicals.

Basic Steps:

  1. Prime the canvas with a black gesso and adhere die cuts to the background
  2. Use a sponge to apply white gesso over the texture
  3. Create the background with magicals and sprays. I used Spill the Tea Teal magical shakers and Galactic Teal, Frosty Forest Green – starburst sprays
  4. Apply textured paste with a snow effect
  5. Color plastic figurines and die cuts using Magicals
  6. Cover the die cuts with embossing powder
  7. Assemble and glue the composition
  8. As a final touch, use Milky Way White magical to create splatters.

Here is my video step-by-step – I hope you’ll enjoy it!

And some close-ups as a little inspiration
