Hi all Lindy’s lovers! Today it’s Oleksandr Azarov with you on the Lindy’s blog and I want to show you the process of creating a bright postcard for a lover of house plants.
As always, I start my work by choosing the colors of Lindis’ favorite products. I chose several colors of Magicals Shakers 2.0:
-
Pinkies Up Pink Magical Shaker 2.0
-
Pass the Jam Jane Magical Shaker 2.0
-
Crumpet Crumbs Magical Shaker 2.0
-
London Summer Sage Magical Shaker 2.0
-
Lizzy’s Cuppa’ Tea Teal Magical Shaker 2.0
-
Spill the Tea Teal Magical Shaker 2.0
-
Pemberley Pride Purple Magical Shaker 2.0
I will also use gold powder for embossing Gimme Five Gold Detail EP, stamps, knives for cutting and of course watercolor paper.
First of all, I stamp the image using gold embossing powder and cut them out.
The next step is to paint the plants using a thin brush and shakers previously diluted with water. For each area I use at least two shades to add depth and volume to the image.
The next step, using a wide torn brush and Crumpet Crumbs Magical Shaker 2.0, I add random stripes to the base of the card, creating a plane. And now that all the components are ready, all that remains is to assemble the composition; I use bulk tape to glue it to the base. And the last step was to add some decorative pebbles.
